It is time to come together as Disciples Men. This event will be a time for connection, fellowship, and service to strengthen our spiritual walk as men of God. The focus this year will be on ways that the Disciples Men's groups from across the region can support the new Disaster Response Coordinator. Rev. Ronny Nowell will Keynote and share ways that each person or group can organize to be prepared in a time of need.
Rev. Ronny Nowell, Disaster Response Coordinator
Rev. Ronny Nowell grew up in Abilene and Wichita Falls, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Social Work degree from Midwestern State University. The emphasis of Ronny's studies was in drug and alcohol abuse counseling. After a couple years of internships at local and state hospitals, Ronny felt a strong call to ministry. He earned his Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity on the TCU campus in Ft. Worth. Ronny has been active leading youth ministries since 1991. His love for young people and vision to raise new generations of faithful Christians kept him in youth ministry on the local, regional, and national levels. Ronny’s most recent call has been to FCC Rogers, AR where he served as the Associate Pastor for the past 25+ years. In addition, he has a passion for mission/service trips. He has planned yearly service trips for Youth and Adults all over the country for the past 32 years. Pastor Ronny is excited about this exciting new position as the Regional Disaster Relief Coordinator for the Great River Region.
The outreach project for this year's men's event is to provide supplies for the Union Rescue Mission's Nehemiah House. Please plan to bring these supplies to the retreat.

This registration is for the Dinner Friday night, Breakfast, and Lunch on Saturday, along with all programming. Hotel booking is on your own. See below for information on the group discount at the Hampton Inn Airport.
